Cause
Resolution
To resolve this issue, take the following steps:
-
Download the most recent Windows 32-bit version of the ODBC driver from MariaDB (© 2023 MariaDB, available at https://mariadb.com/downloads/connectors/connectors-data-access/odbc-connector/, obtained on December 13, 2023).
Note: You must download version 3.1.x, as the bug was fixed in version 3.1.20.
-
Stop the SolarWinds Job Engine v2 service on the poller.
-
Install the new version of MariaDB 3.1.x.
-
Open the Control Panel > Programs and Features and verify that the MariaDB ODBC driver has been installed.
-
Start the SolarWinds Job Engine v2 service.
-
Wait 5 to 10 minutes for the next polling and verify that SCM elements are polled with no errors.
