This article provides steps to manually import the source download from a Patch Manager package on a secure environment.

Resolution

  1. Open the Patch Manager package.
  2. Copy the Download URL from the Details section.
  3. Download on a machine with internet access.
  4. Transfer to a secure network machine.
  5. Open Software Publishing > Catalog, and then select the target update.
  6. Right-click the package, and then select Edit. 
  7. Click Next when the Package Wizard opens.
  8. Click Next on the Prerequisite Rules window.
  9. On the Select Package page, select I already have the content for the package locally on my network. 
  10. Click the browse button on the right to browse to the location of the package.
  11. Click Next on the Applicability Rules, Installed Rules and Summary screens.
  12. Click OK once the complete message opens.

 

You can now publish the package to your WSUS server.
