This article describes how to use a web page as a background image in Network Atlas.

Note: To access Network Atlas, users must have the Map Management right in SolarWinds NPM or in Orion EOC. You'll need Orion admin rights to change the background image.

Log into the computer hosting your Network Atlas installation.
Start Network Atlas in the SolarWinds program folder.
Connect to your primary Orion server:
1. Provide your Orion Web Console user name and password.
2. Provide the IP address or hostname of your primary Orion server in the Address field.
3. If you are connecting to an SolarWinds NPM server, select Orion as the Connect To target.
4. If you are connecting to an Orion EOC server, select EOC as the Connect To target.
5. Click Connect.
On the Network Atlas Welcome screen, select what map you want to open:
On the top right, click Background > Linked Background.
Provide the URL of the website you want to use as a background.
Click Validate.
Click OK to save the background image settings.
