MFCT FTP command

The MFCT command is used to modify a file or folder's creation date and time information. When a file or folder is uploaded to an FTP server, the creation date and time of the file or folder is set to the transfer date and time. Using MFCT, FTP clients can inform supporting FTP servers of the proper creation date and time to use for the file or folder.

The MFCT command is used to modify a file or folder's creation date and time information.

When a file or folder is uploaded to an FTP server, the creation date and time of the file or folder is set to the transfer date and time. Using MFCT, FTP clients can inform supporting FTP servers of the proper creation date and time to use for the file or folder. The format of the command is MFCT YYYYMMDDHHMMSS path, where:

  • YYYY - the 4-digit year
  • MM - the 2-digit month
  • DD - the 2-digit day of the month
  • HH - the hour in 24-hour format
  • MM - the minute
  • SS - the seconds
