Overview

Kiwi Syslog Daemon sometimes displays an error that it is unable to receive messages. Reloading the default rules and settings triggers the action to fix the problem.

Resolution

To load the default rules and settings:

Go to File > Setup > Defaults/Import/Export.
Five options appear on the right side of Kiwi Syslog Server.
Choose Load default Rules and Settings.
A verification prompt asks if you want to use the default rules and settings.
Click Yes.
