Kiwi Syslog server service fails to start

How to resolve Kiwi Syslog Server "Error Number: 91" where the Kiwi Syslog Server service stops for a few seconds after starting.

Overview

The Kiwi Syslog Server service stops a few seconds after starting. The Errorlog.txt file in the Kiwi Syslog Server shows the following error:

Manager Version 9.5.0.337
Error Number: 91
Description: Object variable or With block variable not set
Module Name: MailServer.cls
Procedure Name: Class_Terminate
Line Number: 80

Cause

This is due to missing files.

Resolution

Re-run the Kiwi Syslog Server installation program (logged in as the local administrator, not a domain account):

Right-click the installation file and click Run as Administrator.
Click Next on all pages in order to preserve existing settings.
When prompted to install Kiwi Web Access, uncheck both boxes.

Note: If any HotfFixes have been implemented, they need to be reinstalled.
