NOTE: The steps below apply only to Microsoft SQL. MySQL is unsupported in this context.

  1. Create DB for Kiwi Syslog  in SQL Server.
  2. Create ODBC (System DSN) on Kiwi Syslog Server.
  3. Create Action in Kiwi Syslog to Store syslogs in MS SQL DB.
  • Create DB for Kiwi Syslog in SQL Server 

On your SQL server create new database called Kiwi  SQL Management Studio Direct Download Link

 

  • Create ODBC (System DSN) on Kiwi Syslog Server 

Select the System Data Source, and click Add. Follow the prompts to create the ODBC on Kiwi Syslog Server.

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

  • Call the SQL DSN Under Kiwi Syslog Server Setup and verify the ODBC Connection 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Data will be stored within the SQL server with Kiwi database. Kiwi Syslog Server writes a new log for each device daily, by default.
