Install Serv-U File Server for Windows

Overview

Installing Serv-U on Windows is very straight forward and it would take just a few seconds to complete. To get a copy of the installer, just go to the customer portal and download the latest version. Select Windows version and run it. Please refer to the steps below.

Launching the Serv-U Management Console

Right-click on the Serv-U tray application in the system tray and select "Start Management Console" or simply double-click the desktop icon.

Tasks to Perform in the Serv-U Management Console

When you launch the Serv-U Management Console for the first time on an empty system you will be prompted to set up your domain and user account for a domain.

Download the Windows Installer from the Customer Portal.
Run the installer as an admin.
Follow the installation wizard.
Set up your domain and user.
