This article describes how to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 so you can upgrade in the following scenarios:

ETS 11.0.6 to ETS 11.0.7 RC2
ETS 11.0.7 RC1 to ETS 11.0.7 RC2

Cause

The Orion Installer requires .NET Framework 3.5 to remove the older version of ETS (11.0.6 or 11.0.7 RC1) and upgrade to the newer version (ETS 11.0.7 RC2).

Resolution

Navigate to the Microsoft Download Center (© 2018 Microsoft Corp., available at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down...ils.aspx?id=21, obtained on May 10, 2018).
Select the language for your operating system.
Click Download.
Follow the onscreen prompts to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.
Run the Orion Installer and upgrade to ETS 11.0.7 RC2.
