Increase CPU threading in Patch Manager
This article describes how to increase the Patch Manager CPU threading by adjusting the maximum concurrent jobs, maximum thread pool size, and maximum worker processes.

This article describes how to increase CPU threading within Patch Manager by adjusting the following settings:
- Maximum Concurrent Jobs
- Maximum Thread Pool Size
. The maximum CPU threading value is 16 threads per worker process with 128 concurrent jobs.

Change the Maximum Concurrent Jobs value
- Log in to Patch Manager as an administrator.
- In the navigation pane, expand Patch Manager System Configuration > Patch Manager Servers.
- Select Application Servers.
- In the center pane, select your Primary Application Server (PAS).
- Click the Application Server Settings tab.
- Double-click Maximum Concurrent Jobs.
Adjust the Maximum Thread Pool Size
You can also access the thread pool settings under Patch Manager Servers by doing the steps below:
- In the navigation pane, expand Patch Manager System Configuration > Patch Manager Servers.
- In the center pane, highlight your Primary Application Server.
- Select the Automation Server Settings tab.
- Double-click Maximum Thread Pool Size per Worker Process.
- In the dialog box, adjust the value, and click OK.
- (Optional) Select and adjust the Maximum Worker Process value.
