Overview

Orion is showing incorrect in volume information on Linux nodes. When reviewing the Volume Details page of the Orion Web Console, you may find that disk utilization shows over 100% full.

Cause

Possible causes:
  • There are issues with Net-snmp running on Linux nodes.
  • Linux file systems may create a reserved block that is not accounted for in SNMP.

Resolution

  1. Take a full SNMP walk from the node.
  2. Calculate the values manually using the OIDs in the below example:









  3. Confirm whether this matches the data in the Orion Web Console.
