Import and export host lists in Dameware Mini Remote Control

Overview

In older versions of Dameware MRC, moving the Saved Host Lists to other computers does not include passwords. Starting version 11.2.0, transfer of Saved Host List to another machine or computer is possible. Exporting Saved Host list

  1. Open Dameware Mini Remote Control.
  2. Under the Remote Connect window or open it from the main menu.
  3. From the main menu, select File then Connect to local or remote session.
  4. In the Remote Connect window, click File then select Export to JSON file.
  5. Specify the file name then click Save.

 

Importing Saved Host list

  1. Open Dameware Mini Remote Control.
  2. Under the Remote Connect window or open it from the main menu.
  3. From the main menu, select File then Connect to local or remote session.
  4. In the Remote Connect window, click File then select Import from JSON file.
  5. Browse the file.
  6. Re-open Dameware Mini Remote Control.

 

Exporting Personal Host list

  1. Open Dameware Mini Remote Control.
  2. Under the Remote Connect window or open it from the main menu.
  3. From the main menu, select File then Connect to local or remote session.
  4. Click Personal Host lists then select Export to XML file.
  5. Specify the file name then click Save.

 

Importing Personal Host list

  1. Open Dameware Mini Remote Control.
  2. Under the Remote Connect window or open it from the main menu.
  3. From the main menu, select File then Connect to local or remote session.
  4. Click Personal Host lists then select Import from the XML file.
  5. Browse the file.
  6. Re-open Dameware Mini Remote Control.
