IPAM Subnets are arranged alphabetically rather than by IP Address

This article describes an issue with IPAM. Subnets are arranged alphabetically; they should be arranged by IP Address.

Overview

Following an upgrade to IPAM version 2025.2/2025.2.1/2025.4, some users may notice that the IPAM Subnet arrangement on their hierarchy is arranged alphabetically, and normally it should be arranged via IP Address on the subnets.

Sample Issue.

You can see that in the screenshot below, the subnet 10.201.11.0 should be next on 10.201.10.128, but the next one is 10.201.100.0.

This setting is also enabled, and that's the indicator that it should be arranged by IP Address.

Cause

This has been identified as a known issue in IPAM 2025.2 through 2025.4.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in IPAM 2025.4.1. Consider upgrading your environment.
