Hostname Column Data Not Displayed in Subnets on IPAM 2025.1 UI

In IPAM 2025.1, the new user interface is not displaying data in the Hostname column within the Subnets view. This is a known issue in IPAM 2025.1.

Overview

In the new IPAM 2025.1 user interface, the Hostnames column on the page My Dashboards > IP Addresses > Manage Subnets & IP Addresses does not display any data. This issue affects visibility of hostname information associated with IP addresses in the subnet view.

Old UI: The Hostnames column correctly displays hostname information.

New UI: The Hostnames column is blank or does not show the full hostname.

Cause

This has been identified as a known issue in IPAM 2025.1.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, please upgrade to SolarWinds Platform 2025.2 or above. If you are unable to upgrade, use the below workarounds:

Workaround: Revert to old UI

If running on SolarWinds Platform 2025.1.1, you may continue to use the old UI as this UI remains unaffected.

Note:

The banner notifying there is a new UI cannot be disabled.

If you have switched to the new UI, revert to the old UI by:

Navigating to Settings > All Settings > IPAM Settings > System Settings
Unchecking the box for Enable New Manage Subnets User Interface
Clicking Save
