IBM Informix ODBC driver issue

Cause

The issue is caused by wrong driver.

Resolution

  1. Uninstall any IBM client SDK driver software.
  2. Download this specific one from here
  3. Download clientsdk.4.10.TC6DE.WIN.zip.
  4. Extract ZIP.
  5. Install installclientsdk.exe.
  6. Select only the "IBM Informix ODBC Driver" in Features.
  7. Regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI\IBM INFORMIX ODBC DRIVER.
  8.  Driver Key should equal install path. Default - C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM Informix Client SDK\bin\iclit09b.dll.
  9. Environmental Variable:
  10. Variable Name: Path
  11. Variable Value: C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM Informix Client SDK\bin; etc...
  12. Leave application monitor edit > advanced to x86.
