*NOTE: Create a server/VM snapshot of your Kiwi Syslog Server if applicable.

3) Upgrading the Kiwi Syslog Application:

  • Stop the Kiwi Syslog Service:

in Kiwi Syslog Service Manager > Manage > Stop the Syslogd service.
in Windows services.msc > Kiwi Syslog Server = "Stop"

  • Stop Ultidev Service if present:

in Windows services.msc > UltiDev Web Server = "Stop"

  • Right-click the Kiwi Syslog upgrade installer and then choose "Properties".
  • Click on "Unblock".
  • Rerun the Kiwi Syslog upgrade installer as "administrator."
  • Install the Kiwi Syslog as a "Service."
  • Complete the installation wizard until you also install Kiwi Web Access.

*Notes:
1. Your existing Kiwi Syslog license will be automatically applied after the upgrade.
