How to obtain a node ID from the Web Console

This article describes how to obtain a node ID in the Web Console. This process reduces the time required to obtain the node ID from the database.

Overview

We need Node ID to search for historical node data like response time from database. This id can be obtained from the web console page.

Resolution

In the Orion web console, go to Settings > Manage Nodes
Look for the node and open its Node Details page
Check the web address on your web browser and look for NetObjectID at the end:
Example: The web address below shows N:453 as the node ID
