When doing application migration, some settings also need to be migrated to the new server.

Resolution

1. Install the same Kiwi Log Viewer version on the target machine.
2. Close Kiwi Log Viewer on both machines.
3. Back up the target machine’s existing files in C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\KiwiLogViewer.
4. Copy the three JSON files from the source machine to the same folder on the target machine (overwrite existing file/s).

C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\KiwiLogViewer\ApplicationSettings.json
C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\KiwiLogViewer\HighlightFavorites.json
C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\KiwiLogViewer\TextHighlights.json

5. Launch Kiwi Log Viewer and verify the migrated settings/highlights.
