How to change the NPM View Type from the Node Details page

The Default view is the most common Node Details page that loads. However, you can change the view type of the node to get more meaningful widgets and pages. 

For example, if you have a default view but the device is a switch and you want more information related to a Network Device specifically, you can do this from the node by following the steps below. 

Change View Type Steps from Node Details Page

1. Navigate to the Node Details page of the node in question by clicking on the node details hyperlink from almost any screen in NPM.
2. Click on Edit Node

3. On the Edit Properties page the first section after the Name and IP Address information is View type used for displaying details about this node. Click on the View Type dropdown menu where it say "(default)"
4. Select the View Type you what to use

5. Click on SUBMIT at the very bottom of the page
