How to Install the FS Logga for Windows File Server

Install the collector for the FS Logga for Windows File server on the monitored file server.

Overview

The collector for the FS Logga for Windows File Server needs to be installed on the monitored file server. Therefore, you have to select the FS Logga for Windows File Server in the installation process.

If Windows Failover Cluster resources should be monitored, then you have to install the collector with the FS Logga for Windows File Server on each node of the cluster.

When you install the Collector, during the install you will choose if it's a Server or a Collector.
Then select the FS Logga for Windows File Server.
Navigate to the ARM Configuration page and click on the collectors. This will take you to a page where you can add the collectors.
Enter the server name and click the green plus sign.
Once you see the green check mark, ARM can see the collector.
Click the back button and run the scan.
