How to Apply SCM Profiles to Multiple Nodes

Outlines the process of filtering nodes and assigning out profiles to many nodes at once based on chosen attributes.

Overview

This article is walk-through for how to apply SCM profiles to a number of nodes based on a selected filter. You may filter by Custom Properties, Vendor, Machine Type, etc.

Server Configuration Monitor

Log into the Orion web console.
Settings > All Settings > Server Configuration Monitor Settings.
Click 'Assign Profiles'.
Click on the pencil icon next to 'Filter'.
A Window will pop-up. In the left pane, select 'Nodes' in the drop-down.
You would like to choose custom properties, it can be selected in the middle pane. Select the property you want to filter on and click 'add selected filter'.
The pop-up window will disappear. In the left pane, expand the filter you added and check the desired attributes.
Select the nodes needed. Click 'Assign Profile'
