Hardware polling failed: Polling of chassis (CIM_Chassis class) failed. Unable to establish session with all provided credentials shown on all the host under Virtualization summary

Cause

The error Polling of chassis (CIM_Chassis class) failed occurs because the ESXi hosts do not have CIM client to read CIM packages under ESX host.

Resolution

Enable the SNMP polling on this ESXi host to monitor the Hardware health:
- Configure SNMP for ESXi
Monitor the ESX host using Vcenter as VCenter has the CIM client:
- CIM Provider Package for VMware

Alternative Solution: Change Polling Status to go through V-Center Server instead of Direct to Host.
