Overview

Adding AD groups with the same members to the Orion Web Console, and then disabling a group also disables all accounts in the group to be disabled and causes permission issues.

For example:

If you need to test the users in SWNetworkAdmin, the SWAdmin group needs to be disabled. This will then disable the account in that group, causing permission errors when members of both groups log in to the Web Console.

Resolution

Make sure that accounts added to Orion are present only in one group, or leave both groups enabled.
