Unable to import Custom Properties from Manage Nodes or fails to import before SolarWinds Platform 2024.1.1 and below

When navigating through Manage Nodes, the Import Custom Property does not work or fails to import properly.

Customers cannot import an xlsx file for custom properties.

Cause

This issue occurs due to an issue with the Custom Property page with the new page view.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, please upgrade to SolarWinds Platform 2024.2 and above. If upgrade is not possible, perform the steps below to workaround the issue:

To workaround the problem, perform the following steps:

Switch from new manage custom properties page to Legacy view.

Import the custom property file again.
