This article provides a workaround for retrieving the public key for a domain.

Resolution

In common SFTP communication, the server sends a public key fingerprint to the client software. This fingerprint is cached for future connections.

Currently, Serv-U has no capability to send or retrieve the public key. As a workaround, you can use the ssh-keyscan command. Refer to examples in Can I automatically add a new host to known hosts? (© 2017 StackExchange Inc., available at https://serverfault.com/, obtained on July 6, 2017.)
