Flex Error #1001 in Web Console after upgrading SEM appliance

After upgrading the Security Event Manager (formerly Log & Event Manager) appliance and accessing the SEM Web Console, you get the following error message: Flex Error #1001: Digest Mismatch with RSL Redeploy the matching RSL or relink your application with the matching library

Overview

After upgrading the SEM appliance and accessing the SEM Web Console, you get the following error message:

Flex Error #1001: Digest Mismatch with RSL
Redeploy the matching RSL or relink your application with the matching library

Cause

Some SEM Web Console data cached in the browser is outdated.

Resolution

Clear the browser's cache and cookies.
Refresh the web browser and open the SEM Web Console.
If the error persists, open this site in the same browser to load the Flash configuration page (© 2018 Adobe Systems Incorporated, available at https://www.adobe.com/, obtained on December 5, 2018).
In the Flash configuration page, uncheck the Allow third-party Flash contents to store data on your computer.
You also need to uncheck the Store common flash components to reduce download times.
Click Confirm when the notification appears to clear the cache.
Recheck the boxes from steps 3 and 4.
Refresh the web browser and try the web console
If protected mode is enabled temporarily disable it in Internet options.
Close the web browser and try again. (Don't forget to go back and enable protected mode)
