This article discusses the Find Connected Ports feature in NCM to track devices connected to an environment.

Resolution

This feature shows devices connected to a network when the following are satisfied:

The node is a network device, monitored by NPM
The switch the device is connected to is monitored by NPM
The interfaces on the switch are monitored by NPM
There is a scheduled discovery running as the last data presented will only be as current as the last discovery
