This article describes how to configure an alert that is triggered when a node switches its status from Down to Up.

Resolution

Go to Trap Viewer > Alerts/Filter Rules.
Either edit your existing syslog rule/alert or create a new alert.
Enter the values based on the name of the node alert that needs to be filtered in the following tabs:
- Message
- Severity
- Trigger Threshold
Select the severity level.
Specify the alert action under the Alert Actions tab.
