This article will show how to use SQL filter in Node Down resource to hide devices that are normally down.

In this case, I want to hide a node starting with "stp":

Click on Edit link on the Down Nodes resource.
Test the SQL filter Caption NOT LIKE 'stp-*'.
This should hide all the nodes with caption containing 'stp-*'.
