This is a procedure how to disable upload from the desktop or set only remote files from Serv-U.

Serv-U Managed File Transfer & Serv-U FTP Server

Resolution

Click management console > Domain level.
Click Limits and Settings.
In the drop-down menu, select Limit type > File sharing.
Double-click "Allowed sent file share sources"
Create new limit.
Choose preferred sources.
Save.
