Overview
After upgrading to Serv-U version 15.5.2, administrators may notice that the Modified Time (and related timestamp details) for files and folders are no longer visible by default in the web interface. This change commonly raises concerns, especially for customers accustomed to the legacy Java-based web clients (FTP Voyager JV and Web Client Pro), which were removed in this release and replaced by the Serv-U Client.
This behavior is expected and is related to differences in the default display and feature behavior of the new Serv-U Client. The timestamp information is still available, but it must be viewed through the Details option in the new web client interface.

Confirm Serv-U Version and Web Client Change:
- Verify that the Serv-U server is running version 15.5.2 or later.
- Review the release notes confirming that:
- FTP Voyager JV and Web Client Pro have been removed
- Serv-U Client is now the default and only supported web client
Verify Default Web Client Configuration:
- Log in to the Serv-U Management Console.
- Navigate to the affected Domain or User settings.
- Locate the Default Web Client option.
- Ensure it is set to Serv-U Client.
Access File and Folder Details in Serv-U Client:
- Log in to the Serv-U Client using a web browser.
- Navigate to the required directory.
- Select a folder or file.
- Click More in the toolbar.
- Select Details.
View Timestamp and Directory Information:
Within the Details panel, verify that the following information is visible:
- Modified
- Created
- Last Accessed
- Directory Size
- Available Space
Please note:
- The Serv-U Client does not display modified times directly in the main directory listing by default.
- This is a design and feature difference, not a data loss or permissions issue.
- All timestamp data remains available and accessible via the Details view.
- Customers transitioning from legacy clients may need guidance on the new UI behavior.
