Exclude nodes from alerts using custom properties

This article provides steps to include or exclude nodes from some alerts. 

1. Create a Yes/No custom property for nodes as described in Create a custom property using the Manage Custom Properties editor  

2. Select the target alert, in the manage alerts view, you want to include or exclude and click on Edit Alert.

3. Select the Trigger Condition tab.

4. In The Scope of the alert section, select Only following Set of objects.

5. In the Select field drop-down, select the Custom property created above.

6. In the Value field, select Yes to Include or No to Exclude the devices in the Custom property.
