Error when publishing and deploying third party updates
This article describes an error that displays in the Patch Manager Publishing Wizard when you publish and deploy your third-party updates. Error: Failed to publish Google Chrome 57.0.2987.133 EXE (Upgrade). Cannot access a closed Stream.

When you run the Patch Manager Publishing Wizard to publish and deploy your third-party updates, the following error message displays in the wizard:
Failed to publish Google Chrome 57.0.2987.133 EXE (Upgrade). Cannot access a closed
Stream.
None of the third party updates stored are displayed when clicking the Update Services button.

Resolution
- Reinstall the package on the WSUS server. See System Center Update Publisher does not publish customized updates to a computer if WSUS 3.0 SP2 and the .Net Framework 4.0 are installed for instructions (© 2018 Microsoft Corporation, available at www.microsoft.com , obtained on July 23, 2018).
- Reboot the WSUS server.
- Redeploy the WSUS certificate to your nodes using your GPO.
