Error when monitoring AIX DB Clusters in SAM "libcrypto.so.1.0.0 Not Found During SCP Command Execution"

Running an SCP command on monitored AIX DB Clusters in SAM fails with an error.

Overview

After adding an AIX DB Cluster to SAM, you may encounter the following error when executing the SCP command within a script:

No fields were recognized in the script output: Could not load program /usr//bin/ssh: Dependent module /opt/SolarWinds/Agent/bin/Plugins/Python3/opt/freeware/lib64/python3.7/lib-dynload/libcrypto.a(libcrypto.so.1.0.0) could not be loaded. Member libcrypto.so.1.0.0 is not found in archive lost connection

Cause

Invalid library paths in the script

Resolution

To resolve this issue, modify the script by adding the correct library paths at the beginning of the script:

  1. Edit the script used for monitoring the AIX DB Cluster.
  2. Add the following lines at the beginning of the script:
    • export LIBPATH=/usr/lib:$LIBPATH
    • export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
  3. Save the script and re-run the script.
