Alert stops to send email notifications and shows 'The failed action was removed from the Database,  Error: You must implement a default accessor on SolarWinds.Newtonsoft.Json.Linq.JObject because it inherits from ICollection

Cause

You must implement a default accessor on SolarWinds.Newtonsoft.Json.Linq.JObject because it inherits from ICollection 

Resolution

To resolve this issue, please upgrade to SolarWinds Platform 2024.2 and above.  If an upgrade is not possible, please use the steps below to workaround the problem.

Workaround:

  1. Restart the Alerting Service
  2. If the issue persists, Disable and Enable the Alerts
  3. If the problem is with Specific Alert then Recreate these Alert and disable or delete the old alert.
