Cause

The Windows Installer Cache, located in c:\windows\installer folder, is used to store important files for applications installed using the Windows Installer technology and should not be deleted.

The Installer Directory is used by MSI files, the Orion installer was not able to unpack MSI files because of missing Folder,
The installer was failing with a generic error Message which did not point to the root cause of the issue.

Resolution

Please make sure you have sufficient disk space available on the drvies.

Please logon to the Orion server with local Administrator rights
Create the folder “installer “ in C/Windows
Re run installer
