Resolution

Resolution 1:

1. Go to:

C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Common

2. Locate: 

SWLogo.ocx

3. Right-click Open with > Choose program from a list. 

4. Select Browse or browse to:

C:\Windows\System32\ directory

5. Select:

Regsvr32.exe

6. Click Run.


You should receive a notification that the registration is successful.

Resolution 2
 

  1. Uninstall Engineer's Toolset
  2. Reinstall it using a Local Administrator account. 


Note: this would also work for other ActiveX components that are not registered correctly


These steps would also work for other DLL files.
