Overview

This article addresses an error encountered when handling the World Map feature in the SolarWinds Platform. The error occurs during data retrieval from the SolarWinds Information Service (SWIS) and is caused by a syntax issue in the SWQL query parser.

Cause

The issue is a known bug within the product’s SWQL parser that causes certain queries related to the World Map feature to fail.

Resolution

This issue is addressed in SolarWinds Platform 2026.2. Consider upgrading your environment.
