Product section
Cause
- IPAM may be scanning subnets on your networks, and possibly old SNMP strings are used.
- SNMPv1 or v2 is enabled in the device while the device is polled via SNMPv3
Resolution
- To resolve this, go to Settings > All Settings > IPAM Settings > SNMP Credentials and look for old or not working SNMP strings.
- Also, check any scheduled network discoveries that may have old SNMP strings in it.
- If the node is polled via SNMPv3, disable the SNMPv1 and v2 on the device if not in use.
