This error occurs during the save operation of a custom alert in DPA when the data exceeds the allowed size for the PRMVALUE column in the MySQL database.

This has been identified as a known issue in DPA 2025.2-2025.4.

Resolution

As of December 19, 2025, there are no workarounds, and the SolarWinds Engineering team is investigating the issue. Watch this article for updates.
