Edit the Custom Menu Bar URL in NPM

This article provides steps on how to edit the URL for an existing view in the Orion menu bar.

Overview

In situations where a link in the menu bar may be pointing to an incorrect URL, you can modify the link to point to the correct URL. You can also have the link point to any custom URL.

Resolution

In the Orion Web Console, Go to My Dashboards> Click Configure

Click the edit button for the version of the menu bar that you want to make changes to. In this case we are customizing the Admin menu bar.

Under the section to edit the Menu Bar, click on the edit button that corresponds to the link you want to customize. You also have the option to add a new link at the bottom of this page.

Enter the URL that you want the link to point to. Optionally, you may enter a different name for the Menu Item and Click OK

You should be able to see the link you just customized in the menu bar and clicking on it should redirect you to the URL that you configured.
