Overview

This article provides brief information about Orion Platform support for Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA)-256 in Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) digital certificates that can be installed on web servers to:

Authenticate the identity of a website, and
Encrypt data that’s being transmitted to and from the website.
