Delete SolarWinds Platform accounts using the Database Manager

This article describes how to delete SolarWinds Platform accounts using the Database Manager.

1. Connect to the SolarWinds Server.
2. Open the Database Manager from the SolarWinds Platform folder of the Start menu.
3. Select Add Orion Server, then expand the SQL server and SolarWinds database in bold.
4. Navigate to the accounts table, right-click, and select Query table. A query window appears on the right.
5. Click Execute query to show the top 1000 rows of the Accounts table.
6. Select Enable table editing.
7. Select the row of the account you want to delete.
8.  Right-click and select Delete the selected row.
9. Execute the Select query again to ensure the account was deleted.

Note: If the ID of the account has created any jobs in NCM, the job needs to be edited, and saved.
