IP Address Manager

Cause

This will be an environmental issue where the IPAM server cannot find the DHCP server for authentication. This issue is generally caused by a blocked communication in the network for ports 1024 to 65535 or a network routing issue between the servers. The ports may be blocked by:

  • Hardware firewall
  • Internet connection firewall
  • Third-party firewall software
  • Antivirus software

Resolution

Use the Portqry command to verify if the required ports are open. This command troubleshoots connectivity issues in the network. For more information, refer to the Microsoft site.
