Custom Object Resource: Resources based on multi-chart do not show all components. When the custom object resource is configured to use a multi-chart resource for AppInsight for SQL listing the below resources, it is expected that the resource should look the same as the resource added directly to the view. Buffer manager Cache Connections Disk Latches and Locks Memory Pages Sessions Instead, only the first component is displayed.

Overview

Custom Object Resource: Resources based on multi-chart do not show all components.

When the custom object resource is configured to use a multi-chart resource for AppInsight for SQL listing the below resources, it is expected that the resource should look the same as the resource added directly to the view.
 
  • Buffer manager
  • Cache
  • Connections
  • Disk
  • Latches and Locks
  • Memory
  • Pages
  • Sessions

Instead, only the first component is displayed.

Resolution

The resource may be re-configured manually as a workaround.
You will need to hit the 'Edit' button on the top right corner of the resource to change it's configuration.
