Custom Active Alerts Report for Orion

Create a custom alert based onAlert History to get a list of active alerts with custom details.

This article shows you how to create a Custom Active Alerts Report.

Resolution

  1. In the Orion Web Console, click Reports > All Reports.

  2. Click Manage Reports.

  3. Click Create New Report.

  4. Click Get Started. 

  5. Select Reports > Custom Table.

  6. Click Select and Continue.

  7. Change ‘I want to report on' to “Alert History”.
    You may want to make time condition for 1 day or less than 5 as the report can contain too much data.

  8. Click Add to Layout. For  more details, see Add content to a web-based report and Add a custom chart or table to a web-based report .

  9. Click Add Column. See Customize a web-based report layout .

  10. Add: Time Stamp, Message, Entity Caption, Related Node Caption, Triggered Message, Node-Caption, Node-IP Address

  11. Add Column.

  12. Submit.

  13. Enter a Report Title.

  14. Complete creating the report.
