Create and deploy scripts in Dameware Remote Everywhere (DRE)

The Dameware Remote Everywhere has capable of deploying different types of scripts to remote devices to perform a specific process.

The script can be explicitly entered in DRE or call it from a different location such as cloud storage.

Supported script type:

• Powershell (*.ps1)
• Batch (*.bat)
• Visual Basic (*.vbs)

Notes: When calling the script from a different location, the file should be auto-download, otherwise it will not run.

Dameware Remote Everywhere

Creating the Script:

1. 1. Login to your Admin Area.
   2. Navigate to Management > Scripts.
   3. Click the Add button (top right corner after "Scripts").
   4. Fill in the script name and description.
   5. Click Add.
   6. Select the newly created script from the list.
   7. On the chart below the script list, enable the script and Save changes.
   8. Select the CONTENT tab, fill out the script body/type and Save changes.
   9. Select the REQUIRED FILES tab and add the desired files by clicking the button Add new.

Deploying the Script:

1. 1. Login to your Admin Area .
   2. Navigate to Devices.
   3. Select the device on which you want to deploy the script.
   4. Click the button Deploy Script.
   5. Set the Job name and select the script
   6. Choose other preferred running options if desired.
   7. Click Deploy.
