Create a report for interface percent utilization in NPM

This article provides steps to create a report showing interface percent utilization that will send email on a daily basis.

Overview

If the utilization report contains more than 20 charts, the PDF report might only show half of those charts and a reset of the report might be blank.

Resolution

Create a report for percent utilization:

  1. Go to Settings > Manage Reports > create a new report > search for percent utilization.
  2. Select Interfaces > look for the interface > add to layout.

Note: If the report includes more than 20 charts, create two small reports. Otherwise, it might not show all the report output.

Create a scheduled report:

  1. Go to Settings > Manage Reports > Create a new schedule > assign report > look for the created report > Add frequency.
  2. Add action to be send to an email.
