This article describes how to create a new Orion database account. The screenshots illustrate the workflow for SolarWinds products on Orion Platform 2017.1 and earlier.

Resolution

Start the configuration wizard and run it for database only.
Enter the SA account during the first login.
Select Create a new account and enter all the necessary information.

The configuration wizard will complete and configure the changes. After successfully creating a new account, your DBA can now remove the old user account from the database.
