Use caution when performing custom changes that can make Patch Manager look easier to navigate. This process may make it more confusing because of the non-standard configuration.

Log in to the Patch Manager Administrator Console as an administrator.
In the navigation pane, maximize Administration and Reporting > Software Publishing
Select a package vendor (such as SolarWinds, Inc. Packages).
In the center pane, select the targeted package.
Right-click the package and select Duplicate.
Right-click the duplicated package and select Edit.
Click the Vendor drop-down menu, enter a unique name that is not listed in the Software Publishing list, and then click Next.
Complete the wizard.
Under Software Publishing, select a package group that contains the copied software package.
